Muara International Fish Landing Sdn Bhd (MIFL) holds the development and operation rights of Muara Fish Landing Complex (FLC) for 40 years. MIFL officially took over on 18th January 2021 and is fully responsible for the planning, design, investment, construction, operation and maintenance of the FLC, which occupies an area of about 16.8 hectares.
The jetty can accommodate vessels up to 800 tons to provide berthing, supply and other services of marine fishing and aquaculture activities. Adhering to the development concept of “Port + Industry + Park”, MIFL transformed and upgraded the fishing port into an efficient, intelligent and modern fishery comprehensive supporting service park that integrates different facilities and functionalities such as fishing port, supply, cold storage, ice plant, processing, net mending, warehouse, trading, etc.
